Steve Ballmer hypes massive Windows 8 launch numbers at Build 2012

Steve Ballmer announced first of all today at Build 2012 that they'd sold 4 million Windows 8 upgrades in the three days since it's been launched. It's no small number, of course, and for the developers seeing this system for the first time here in its final form at the developer conference we're experiencing here this week, it's nothing but great! ASUS reports Q3 2012 earnings

ASUS just posted its third quarter earnings for this year, and the company ended up recording its largest quarterly profit in more than four years. During the third quarter, the company earned a net income of $229.1 million, which is up 43% from the same time last year. ASUS posted a total Q3 revenue of $3.8 billion. Read The Full Story

Rockstar Games is still staying quiet about a release date for their upcoming Grand Theft Auto V title, but a UK game retailer seemed to have accidentally posted up a photo of some promotional artwork of the game that had "Spring 2013" printed on the materials. MetroPCS posts up Q3 2012 earnings

MetroPCS might just be a smaller regional carrier compared to T-Mobile, who is trying to acquire MetroPCS, but the regional carrier posted up its third quarter earnings for this year, and it looks like the company is doing fairly okay. Space shuttle Endeavour exhibit to open today

This chance doesn't involve the space shuttle being towed down city streets, but you will be able see the space shuttle in its new Pavilion.
