Google Analytics now tracks users in real-time

Google Analytics now tracks users in real-time

Today the folks at Google's Analytics lab revealed an upcoming service where users visiting websites tracked with the service would be counted in real-time. This isn't the first time such a service has been offered by an analytical group, but because it's being integrated into one of the most-used services for such tracking in the world, Google Analytics, this becomes a rather significant happening. Google calls this new service "Google Analytics Real-Time" and will be turning it on for users in waves over the next few weeks - can't wait!

EliteBook Notebook PC Concepts hands-on with HP’s Eric Chen

It's a rare occasion when you get to see the inner workings of the industrial design crew at a PC creation laboratory, but that's just what we got to do this week at HP's inaugural Making of Elite Tour for the world's press core. It's here that we got to speak with Eric Chen of HP Notebook Design and were allowed to gain some great insight into a bit of the grab-n-plug nature of iterations of devices. What we get to see here is a set of three EliteBooks, different versions on the way to the testing floor at one point or another, saved here for future projects should the need ever arise.

What Console Could You Not Live Without?

Over the weekend, I was getting ready to play Gears of War 3 on my Xbox 360, and looked at my selection of game consoles, including the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii, in addition to Microsoft’s hardware. After thinking about all the benefits of those devices, I asked myself a simple question: “which one of those could I simply not live without?”

iPhone 5, N94 now listed in Apple’s inventory

According to a new inside tip, Apple updated its inventory system today with the iPhone 5. HP TouchSmart 9300 Elite Business PC Hands-on [Video]

In an effort to give the press (and via the press, consumers) a better look at the inner workings of their PC business, specifically their Elite line of PCs, HP has invited us to what's called the "HP Making of Elite Tour" which we've been enjoying throughout the first half of this week. What we did not expect but certainly welcome is a look at some totally complete PCs, here an HP TouchSmart 9300 Elite Business PC, an all-in-one computer that we first saw mention of back in February. WIth its deep-tilting full touch display, it seems custom made for Windows 8, an OS we know to be made to reflect the touch-based future of PCs. Will the 9300 add up?

Amazon Kindle Fire Q and A for greater detail

That's where pressing the PR representatives comes in, and that's where we've got to do some additional analysis.
