YouTube Play 2010 : 23,000 Creative Music / Video Works, 25 Finalists

Who would have thought that a tiny video website with the clever name "YouTube" would one day would be exhibiting works at the Guggenheim Museum in New York? That day is here, they're that fabulous. YouTube is that big of a deal. Let me tell you how they got there. YouTube Play is a call out to the public to submit their best creative video, music and visuals made moving, to be sifted through and judged. Once 25 (out of the 23,000 they received this year) are chosen, they have a magical event in New York, gigantic video projectors and everything. Read The Full Story

Sony 320GB PlayStation 3 Heading to Retail Without Move Bundle

The 320GB version of the PlayStation 3 isn't all that new. It's been included in the Move bundle since the launch of the motion-based peripheral and camera. But, Sony apparently believes that while the Move bundle is the best way to go, they want to at least give the option for a Move-less console for anyone out there who doesn't want to get off their couch. Amazon Kindle App Coming to Windows Phone 7

In today's world, there's no surprise that you'll find a popular eReader application on another piece of tech altogether. For example, Amazon's Kindle application has found its way to plenty of devices that many people would consider "the competition." That's not stopping Amazon from releasing the application on more devices, of course. Verizon and AT&T Begin iPad Sales Across US

Verizon is telling you now to UNLEASH the iPad while AT&T merely notes that it is Now Available at select stores. Prices for the pad itself are very similar, with 16GB at $629.99, 32GB at $729.99, and 64GB at $829.99 (although on each of these, AT&T seems to be 99 cents cheaper here.) After that though, there's some big differences to be seen, like the fact that AT&T's is selling iPad Wifi + 3G models while Verizon is offering Wifi-only paired with their MiFi 2200 mobile hotspot. Acer Aspire One D255 Review

What difference a dual-core? As we’ve seen from the ASUS Eee PC 1215N, just because an ultraportable might be called a netbook, it doesn’t mean it’s necessarily short on power. Still, the Acer Aspire One D255 doesn’t get NVIDIA’s Optimus GPU to bolster its appeal, nor a desktop Atom CPU co-opted into mobile duty. Tianhe-1A supercomputer breaks world record with NVIDIA GPUs

The Chinese supercomputer Tianhe-1A has been putting NVIDIA's Tesla GPUs to good use: using them to create the world's fastest supercomputer.  A whopping 50-percent faster than the previous record holder, Tianhe-1A scores 2.507 petaflops in LINPACK benchmarking despite being half the size of a regular supercomputer. Google’s Chrome Web Store delayed until Dec tip developers

Google's Chrome Web Store has apparently been delayed, and will miss its originally tipped launch this month.  Instead, according to AllThingsD, developers creating apps for the new download store are expecting a December 6 public beta, with some having received not only special help from Google's engineers but even financial support. O2 Galaxy Tab priced at ridiculous £600

Perhaps we're naive, but we're not sure UK carrier O2 actually want to sell any of Samsung's Galaxy Tab.  Official pricing has been announced, ahead of the Froyo slate's release on November 1, and it turns out that not only is O2 not subsidizing the Tab, they're actually asking for more than most other retailers.
