The new iPod Shuffle concept might just fool you for an Onion story: no buttons, proprietary headphones, and next you're going to tell me it talks to me too, right?
The FCC got their hands on the LG GM630 flip today and it seems this handset might just be making its way to the U.S. with a TV tuner at the ready. That would certainly make for an interesting mobile phone, wouldn't you say?
We don't know any of the official specs as of yet, but what we do know is that it will be very similar to the LG HB620T, which is available currently in Europe. We can assume it will have a 240 x 320 rez screen with a 2-megapixel camera. Other features will possibly be an FM radio tuner and Bluetooth.
But with a TV tuner thrown into the mix, it's hard to say how this one will work.The big question on everyone's minds right now is how the TV signals will get to the phone in the first place. MediaFLO seems like a likely option, but nothing is official at the moment.

Apple's recent seeds of OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" are rumored to feature a new user interface that is a stark departure from the Platinum theme of OS X 10.5. The new UI theme, code named "Marble" features a dark chrome motif that some have compared to a Windows theme. It is rumored to used smother iTunes-like scroll bars, and light text on a dark background.
Apple Retail stores and AT&T stores are now selling iPhone 3G's completely contract free. However, you will be paying the full price of $599/$699 for 8 GB or 16 GB handsets respectively. It was rumored that Apple would make this move following AT&T's announcement that they would offer the iPhone 3G to existing customers free from contract obligations.
Sling Media have released the official SlingPlayer Mobile app for BlackBerry, which allows RIM smartphone users to stream content from their Slingbox directly to their handset. As well as watching streams, users are also able to add and edit Slingboxes and Channel Favorites directly from the mobile app.
The BlackBerry SlingPlayer Mobile application was launched as a beta release at the end of last year. Downloads until now have been free; however this official release is priced at $29.99 with a 30-day free trial.
Hitachi have announced a new triple-LCD projector, the Hitachi CP-X2010, with 2,200 lumen brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The CP-X2010 also has integrated speakers, but unlike most onboard audio there's a full 16W on offer.
