T-Mobile G1 aka Android HTC Dream diagrams leak

An engineering drawing of T-Mobile's G1, the upcoming HTC Dream smartphone running Google's Android mobile platform, has emerged, confirming some of the details that so far have been merely rumors.  As you can see in the annotated diagram below, the G1 will measure approximately 16.35mm thick; that's around 4mm thicker than the iPhone 3G. Galaxy adds Atom to full-sized ATX motherboard

Intel's Atom CPU might have been initially intended for netbooks and other low-power ultraportables, but that didn't stop desktop manufacturers eyeing up the efficient chip for use in stationary PCs.  ASUS' Eee Box is one such example: Atom's low heat output and mild thirst for electricity add up to an economical and compact desktop.  However what you see here certainly isn't compact; it's a full ATX motherboard, complete with five PCI slots, and an Atom CPU soldered on. ViewSonic 120Hz LCD prototype: minimizes ghosting & blur

Attempting to demonstrate a new, ultra-fast refresh 120Hz LCD monitor with a still image is tricky, so ViewSonic have done the next best thing a slapped a big dragon on there instead.  The VX2265wm is a 22-inch prototype with Professional Color Certification, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 300 nits of brightness and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio; it also boasts a 3ms gray-to-gray response time. LG N4B1 4TB NAS with Blu-ray burner

LG have unveiled what looks to be the world's first Network Attached Storage (NAS) device with a built-in Blu-ray drive.  Looking to have borrowed a few design cues from Apple, the N4B1 has up to 4TB of storage (presumably spread across some sort of RAID array) and a Blu-ray burner for making copies of data to be stored off-site. An awful lot of people are getting frantically excited about a supposed leaked advert showing the upcoming MacBook Pro refresh.  You can understand the excitement: a casing similar to that of the MacBook Air, and less than one inch thick.  Weight down to 5.1lbs.  WiFi getting a boost to 802.11n.  Unfortunately, the ad isn't real - it's actually the work of MacRumors forum member mciarlo. Sony PS3 Wireless Keypad up for preorder: $49.99

Sony's PS3 snap-on keyboard accessory is now available for preorder, confirming both its launch date and price.  The QWERTY 'board, which clips to a standard PS3 controller and connects via Bluetooth, is priced at $49.99 and will apparently be released on November 30th.  This tallies (but only just!) with Sony's claim that the peripheral would hit stores sometime in November. Nikon D90 DSLR images and specs leak

Nikon's D90 looks to be all but officially confirmed, with all-round press shots of the DSLR emerging together with what are being described as "100-percent legit" specifications.  The 12.3-megapixel camera will have an ISO range of 200 to 3.200 plus Lo1 (100) and Hi 1 (6.400), a 3-inch 900k pixel LCD and GPS, together with video recording and playback via the built in microphone and speaker. Cowon S9 Curve, O2 & L3 PMPs

A trio of new PMPs from Cowon today, waiting in the wings for their official announcement at IFA 2008.  Each has a touchscreen and Cowon's typically minimal selection of hardware buttons, with the range starting out with the most compact, the S9 Curve.  The first from the company to use an AMOLED display, the screen measures 3.3-inches and has a T-DMB digital TV tuner as well as audio & video playback.
