Man invents the water jet pack from Mario Sunshine

Remember back when the GameCube first came out, Mario made his debut on the console with Super Mario Sunshine? The entire game had you running around with the strangest weapon ever, a water canon. What was cool was that you could actually use the canon to propel yourself into the air like a jet pack. Apparently someone played that game just a bit too much.

Olinari – The USB drive necklace

USB drives are so commonplace that almost everyone carries one. I personally keep my Corsair Flash Voyager on my keychain (right next to my D20 holder). While it's not too hard on the eyes, some people might look for a drive that they can really show off.

Zygote – The party ball

How exciting can a giant inflatable ball be to a full-grown adult? Well if you've ever been to an outdoor concert, or even a rave you'll know that people love bouncing around inflatable balls. I'm really not sure why, but as soon as you see that thing coming at you, you feel like bouncing it off to the next person. Check out this cool new ball that takes that idea to the next step.

Rumor – Guitar Hero III to feature Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine

The competition between Guitar Hero III and Rock Band is really heating up as the launch dates inch closer. It looks like Red Octane is going all out trying to get big names to appear in Guitar Hero III. So far they have you battling Slash from G&R, and having Bret Michaels from Poison lending you vocals, but now another name has cropped up.

EX-V8 and EX-Z1080 – Two new cameras from Casio do more than just shoot YouTube clips

If you're in the market for a new digital camera, Casio has just introduced two new models that might be worth looking into, especially if you like small cameras and uploading YouTube videos.

The PlayStation phone – Sony’s next big thing?

Sony makes so many different products that it's hard to remember that your gaming console of choice, TV, phone and camera could be made by the same people. Sony has already integrated their Walkman and Cyber-shot lines with mobile phones, so it's not too far-fetched to think that they might one day make a Playstation phone, right?

Logitech ClearChat headsets – Comfort and quality for the gamer

A little while back I finally caved and installed Ventrilo so I could talk with my fellow guild mates in World of Warcraft, and it's the best thing I ever did. Our runs are quicker and everyone is more efficient, except when we group with someone not using it, then they just feel left out. I do have one complaint about it, I can't stand to wear my headset for more than a couple of hours. I've tried a couple of different ones, but they all start to hurt my ears after a little while of gaming.

RedOne to ship their first 25 cameras this Friday

I love shooting video just as much as the next guy, but I don't exactly keep up with the latest high-end equipment since I'm an amateur at best. However, those of you seeking the best possible cameras you can get your hands on might do well to take a look at RedOne.

Wolverine ESP – PMP with 250GB storage

One of the problem I have with many PMP in today’s market is storage capacity. Wolverine ESP is a PMP that comes with 250GB of storage, giving you a lot of space to store your videos, photos, and music.

Color 24-Bit LCD PSP Touch Screen – Make your PSP a little more like a DS

One of the reasons that the DS has been more popular than the PSP is that it has dual screens, one of which is a touchscreen. While there's never going to be a great way to attach a second screen to the PSP, you can at make it a touchscreen.

Home Network Hard Drives – Iomega’s new cost-efficiant NAS solution

One of the best ways to keep all of your data in one place is by using a NAS. If you're not familiar with the acronym, it stands for Network Attached Storage and it's basically a network device for the sole purpose of storing files. They come in all shapes, sizes and prices. Iomega has just announced a new line of affordable NAS drives.

I personally just have an old Dell PC running a copy of FreeNAS to keep all of my files, I already had the hardware, and the software was free. Unfortunately it's a full tower, so it takes up a lot of room and uses more power than is really necessary. Iomega's new Home Network Hard Drives take up about as much space as a regular external drive, and will certainly use less power than a desktop.
