Voice chat to be integrated into World of Warcraft

Voice chat to be integrated into World of Warcraft

I play World of Warcraft, though not as much as I used to. One of the things that I've never really gotten into is Voice chat. Sure, a lot of my guild mates love to use Ventrillio to chat, but I'm just not into it. Something about actually hearing their voices takes away from my enjoyment of the game. Now Blizzard is talking about integrating voice chat into the game.

Is FireWire becoming a niche technology?

How often do you use the FireWire port on your PC? Maybe it would be better to ask if you even have a FireWire port. There's a decent chance that you have a FireWire port on your computer, especially if it is a Mac. But the popular port is slowly losing popularity.

Memorex M-Flyer has spring-loaded USB action

There are hundreds, if not thousands of different styled USB flash drives. Personally, I don't really care for the ones that are shaped like some type of food or anything. I like the ones that are sleek and simplistic like this M-Flyer Pilot from Memorex.

There really isn't much to this drive, but it features a capless design, so you don't have to fiddle taking off the cap and then losing it. The USB connector is spring-loaded, so with just a quick press of the button, it's out and ready to be plugged in.

PAX looks to fill E3’s shoes with impressive list of exhibitors

If you're a gamer and you've never heard of Penny Arcade, you should check them out. They're just a couple of guys that love video games, and happen to put out a web comic every three days. I visit their site on a regular basis, and they never let me down. They also run a gaming show every year called PAX, and this year is going to be the biggest yet.

Broken UK Xbox 360s get free trip to Prague

Gadgets dying is an inevitable part of a tech-rich life, and if your Xbox 360 has recently required an ambulance ride to Microsoft you're probably pacing up and down by the mailbox in anticipation of its return.  So spare a thought for the UK gamers who found out that while they'd dispatched their carefully-packaged console to an official Microsoft repair centre in Havant, a large number of them were being reshipped to Prague before they'd actually get looked at.  It's all because they're getting around 1,500 to 2,500 consoles in to look at every day.
