The Pantech Group today announced the launch in Hong Kong of its PG-3600V handset. Boasting a sleek and trendy look, the new slider phone has a revolutionary touch wheel sensor, as well as a unique video editing application, and is aimed at young, trend-setting consumers. Significantly, the video editing function incorporated in the PG-3600V is a world first, in terms of being installed on a GSM handset. The phone also features a 1.3 mega pixel camera. Users can access a range of music files through the music player and enjoy stereo music, using Bluetooth technology. In addition, the handset, which is also being introduced in Taiwan this week, has an internal 512 Mb memory capacity and an external card slot for more capacity.

Kyocera's new range of workgroup A4/A3 laser printers are ozone-free, embodying the company's vision of low environmental impact products. This quartet of low-noise, monochrome laser printers are able to churn out 45 pages per minute at 1200 dpi, with double-sided/PC-less laser printing as well. It is made from Kyocera's ECOSYS components for a low lifetime cost. It comes with an extra USB port that reads flash drives to print PDF files directly. A single toner provides up to 20,000 pages of printing.
