Crytek is a game developer behind the incredibly popular Crysis franchise. Typically, the company develops high-end video games that sell for $50 or $60 per copy. Crytek announced a while back that it was working on a new online free to play FPS title called Warface.

Crytek has now announced that the game is downloadable and live for PC gamers to access right now. Console gamers will have to wait, Crytek announced back in August that Warface would be coming to the Xbox 360 in 2014. The PC version of the game is designed to play directly in the PC browser.

Crytek promises that the browser-based game has the company's trademark quality and a wealth of cooperative and competitive game modes. Warface offers four distinct soldier classes and emphasizes teamwork. The game will be constantly updated ensuring fresh challenges for players.

Warface is live and playable right now in North America, Europe, and Turkey. The game is localized in English, French, German, and Turkish languages. Crytek promises additional language support is coming. Along with Warface, Crytek's free social hub GFACE is also live. GFACE is the gateway to Warface and provides a place for players to chat, organize play sessions, socialize, and more.
