Crysis 3 art leaked on Origin: game info coming April 16th

Has your PC been yearning for another game that would set the fans ablaze and bring the GPU to its knees? You won't have to wait much longer to satisfy its sadomasochistic desires. The third title in the Crysis series was leaked this morning on EA's own digital download website, Origin, providing eagle eyed forum dwellers a peek at some artwork, along with pricing for the game.NeoGAF spotted the banner ad for Crysis 3, as well as the Origin store listings. The game will be available on Xbox 360 and PC in a Limited Edition set for $49.99, and there will of course be a digital download version. There's no word on if there will be a PS3 version, and the listing has since been pulled from Origin.

The high resolution banner ad is similar to what's found on the box for the game, showing the hero in a high tech suit while holding a bow. Swedish gaming magazine Gamereactor also teased the image in its April 2012 issue.

Polygon reached out to EA regarding the leak, and was told that more information about the game is coming sooner than you think: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16." Come Monday, it seems that EA will officially announce the game. Keep your eyes peeled.
