Creepy Cuckoo Clock from Michael Sans

Occasionally people take things a bit too literally. Usually when most people think cuckoo clock its not with an actual cuckoo bird.

From the artist Michael Sans, featured is of course the cuckoo bird, with a digital clock hung around its neck. The cuckoo is actually protected from being killed, so to get around such laws the artist found a bird that died of the most natural causes in 1958.

Frankly the fact that the bird died of natural causes doesn’t make the work any less creepy. If you are considering pulling a similar stunt I would keep in mind not to kill the cuckoo, just to find your that already happens to be dead.
