Creative have quietly revealed new color options for their ZEN iPod-rival.  Set to be released in eye-catching pink and red versions, the PMP is otherwise identical to existing ZEN models.  That means you get the same 2.5-inch, 320 x 240, 16m color TFT display, choice of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB or 32GB flash storage and SD/SDHC expansion slot.

The ZEN also includes an FM radio and microphone for voice recordings, is compatible with multiple audio and video formats (MP3, WMA, AAC (. M4A), WAV (ADPCM), Audible 2,3,4, MJPEG, WMV9, MPED4-SP, DivX 4 / 5 and XviD) and has a photo viewer too (JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG & TIFF).  It’ll also handle TIVO-to-go files, from the popular PVR.  File transfer is via USB 2.0 connection.  Meanwhile, battery life is rated as 25hrs audio playback or 5hrs video.

No word on availability or price, yet.  The red ZEN has shown up on Buy.com while the pink is labelled as a Walmart exclusive.  The existing black model is available online priced from around $90 for the 4GB version.
