Creation StationThe holidays are coming up quicker than most of us care to think about. I always intend upon getting my shopping done early, but it never happens. There are two things that always remain consistent every year with my holiday shopping. The majority of my gifts are bought no more than two weeks ahead of time, and they are mostly tech-related. If you have someone younger that is tech-savvy and dreams of making movies, here’s a cool idea for them.

The Creation Station is a relatively cheap kit that allows kids to make and even editing their own movies. It includes a green screen so they can easily change backdrops and add other effects. It also features easy YouTube uploading, so that they can show off their creations to the world. That may not always be a good thing though.

Creation Station

As with most tech toys aimed at kids, we don’t get a lot of technical specs here. You can bet that the camera is going to capture fairly low-quality video, but this isn’t exactly made for recording professional videos anyway. The Creation Station will set you back around $99.
