I doubt many people will pay after a year, not worth it. $19.99 a year to allow you to use your equipment from your smart phone? Perhaps if they had other assurelink connected devices it would be worth it, but only one assurelink device is on the market, the garage door opener. Still love my new door opener though and will use assurelink for the free year, if I ever need to (aside from playing with it, which gets old after you have tested it out).

If I hadn't already had them installed I would return them. This paying for remote access is a complete rip off. Sears has always been my go-to for appliances, electronics, tools and many other items but no more.
