I went for a full year only net-streaming netflix & hulu+ content. I did not miss cable's 800+ channels of bundled crap I never watch. Then I tucked my tail and went back to cable for the minimum package that would give me HBO again. Even now I only watch HBO on demand through HBO-GO net-streaming, but I am strong-armed into a service provider bundle to get this service.

I have written more than a few emails to HBO stating flat out that I would be happy to ditch cable forever if they would let me pay for an HBO-GO subscription to them directly.
