		<description><![CDATA[Alright, I attempted to contest your views, and you&#039;ve simply twisted them. Lets take a look
1. The innovation comes from not having to significantly expand the size of the tablet while increasing resolution and battery life. (So the innovation was fitting a puzzle together better...? I would call that mechanical/spacial innovation, not technological) If you do that in your home electronics, then you must have a pretty large and extensive home manufacturing system. (I was talking of battery replacement, hence the parenthesis pertaining to the single battery point, your bending my words to make me look dumb, that&#039;s naughty).
2. Your opinions and the un-cited opinions of other Apple users are irrelevant. What is relevant is the dates of large scale adoption of specific technologies. Apple is usually first or close to it in this department. (OK, I never argued that, you just said &quot;They are on the bleeding edge in sense of user interface&quot;, which is just according to you. I was trying to help you realize that what you believe is best is personal opinion, not a fact you can use to prove your argument. I was just trying to help by letting you know that others don&#039;t think so... my bad for trying to help)
3. &quot;The technology is pre-existing, but they figure out how to design it in unique and intuitive ways for the user&#039;s convenience.&quot; They put it in a rectangular, flat tablet... There are many factors that are taken into account when determining sales, loyal brand followers and simple minded users also contribute to these numbers... As for the both ways statement, huh? They don&#039;t innovate, they market. I said they were good at marketing, so how am I contradicting myself? I simply stated so are Samsung and other companies. Just because the marketing doesn&#039;t work for you, doesn&#039;t mean its bad...)

1. Resolution (Sharps innovation) + thicker design (thicker than old pad is not innovation) + larger batteries (you can not possibly call this innovative, you just took a smaller battery and replaced it with a bigger one, I do that in my home electronics on a daily basis. So no innovation here.

2. User interface - Eye of the beholder. I think iOS&#039;s user interface is antiquated. Widgets, notifications, customization. These are all innovations. iOS interface is old, many Apple users (myself included) think so.

3. What intuition is used exactly to add a bigger screen and better battery to a device. That&#039;s just logical. Manufacturers have been doing that for years. Suddenly Apple does it, and their marketing states that it is &quot;Magical&quot; and its like consumers have had their eyes opened for the first time. I think the display is genius (Sharps design) and I think the bigger battery (and thickness) are just byproducts of that bigger display. No intuitive design there...

4. Samsung and Motorola actually do very well with advertising. They don&#039;t sugar coat their product&#039;s abilities as &quot;magical&quot; or &quot;revolutionary&quot;. Samsung commercials show what their products do well, large screens for good viewing, 4g LTE, utilization of the Android OS, etc. They also have cute commercials, like the Galaxy Note, elephant commercial. Which is great if you haven&#039;t seen it. Apple is good at advertising as well, more-so because they have to sell already invented technology (Siri) as something new. It takes skill to do this.

5. When they designed this they knew. Your are just blind with this statement, and I don&#039;t know if I can help you. You don&#039;t think they stress tested the chips and batteries before putting it together and measured something as simple as temperature? You don&#039;t think that during design they at some point picked up a prototype, plugged it in, and played with it for more than an hour and NOT somehow notice the heat? They didn&#039;t design overheating, they just had no solution without altering the form factor of the device, so they chose not to. Most likely the heat is within the standards necessary for the device to function, but they haven&#039; stress tested it over 3/4 years so it is impossible to say whether that heat has a long term impact. 

Your right, I have no proof that Apple specifically knew about when/why/how it overheated, but I am involved in product/pc design, and I can tell you that any half-assed organization knows these things, and tests for them. Even a completely ignorant consumer would agree with this. So your either stating that Apple&#039;s design staff are morons, or that they just figured consumers wouldn&#039;t care about the extra heat (and they might not). Take your pick? Sharp developed the screen and the technology behind it. Samsung was the first to build it to Apple&#039;s standards. All Apple did was request that someone build it for them. That isn&#039;t innovation, that&#039;s throwing your money around to get others to innovate... Sharp developed the screen and the technology behind it. Samsung was the first to build it to Apple&#8217;s standards. All Apple did was request that someone build it for them. That isn&#8217;t innovation, that&#8217;s throwing your money around to get others to innovate&#8230; Sharp/Samsung will easily turn around with the tech/manufacturing they actually innovated and put it in their products. They are taking the boundaries others have pushed and polishing it.

Also, to say that this is a &quot;unforeseen&quot; consequence is just silly. They knew they would heat up. You can&#039;t tell me they didn&#039;t stress test the tablets at all....? They knew exactly how/why/when these conditions would occur. Does that mean that its too hot to be a good product? no. Does it mean that there might be failures in components later on in the tablets life? We will have to see...]]></description>
