Yeah, like the charger taking longer to charge because the new iPad has a 70% larger battery, or that power consumption can be high enough for the system to still lose charge even with the charger connected, or that when the system does get too warm that it will stop charging until the system gets cool enough again, or if you make the mistake of using it out under a hot sun or someplace where it would be warm to begin with then it’s more likely to auto shut off to protect itself…

Yeah, no problems at all… until you have a problem!

There’s a difference from the issues being minor and not a big deal from there being no issues at all…

Any person who could actually think realized that the iPad issues were non-issues. The temperatures were never high enough to burn anyone, and the charging issue doesn’t really matter (though it is kind of stupid to have it say 100% when its not, but I guess other manufacturers might do this as well). All of these heat and battery articles are just to create views and flame wars, its what Tech sites do to get hits.

On the other side any electronic that gets hot and stays hot could possibly have future failure issues. Funny enough I see very little sites state this, and instead, recommend that users purchase gloves to hold their iPad… its a sad world we live in.

Yea, I don’t consider CR credible on anything really. They used to be completely unbiased and educated in their reviews. But I’ve seen positive reviews of horrible items and horrible reviews of great items recently. Not saying the new iPad isn’t a great tablet, but not including the Transformer Prime is kind of a comparison derp derp moment…

Actually, they do claim that the new iPad is their top rated tablet, which means it is the best tablet… And if Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus Transformer Prime and Toshiba Excite are not the best Android tablets than which one are?

So all the problems that Consumer Reports claimed about the new iPad were non-issues… what a crap place to get information from and every website is reporting whatever crap they post without thinking twice.

Consumer reports doesn’t claim it best all rivals nor that it is the best tablet, mainly that it just has the best screen… love misleading statements like yours…. Also they only compared it to a handful of Android tablets, not even the best ones available.
