Sometimes it’s nice to combine the past with the present in technology. This concept design combines a CD player with an old phonograph (aka record player).
The look of the overall design is gorgeous even without knowing all the perks you can definitely appreciate it. The designer Yong Jieyu took apart a CD player and rearranged the pieces.
He turned the laser upside down and situated to work with a design replicating an old-fashioned tonearm. The horn has speakers situated directly underneath the opening to give you that classic feel of the old record players.
