The shape of Kenwood’s latest IPod Speaker system reminds me of Terk’s triangle HDTV powered antenna. No, the functionality of AS-IP300 is nothing like Terk but rather a stylist and compact Ipod speakers system. Well, wouldn’t it be nice to have a Ipod cradle with built-in powered antenna ? Not a bad idea for DTV transition accessories.

Despite the size and weights at mere 2.6lb, the AS-IP300 offers a convenient Ipod cradle, remote control, 3D sounds field and recharge battery and dual channels power output of 1.9w each. The system also takes mini-jack and stereo RCA inputs to use with other input sources rather than just the Ipod. It runs on AC power or 4xAA size battery that lasts about 8 hours of continues playing time. The AS-IP300 is available in black or white finishes and selling for $15000 yen ($138 USD Equiv.)
