Comcast shows off new cable bonding modem

My internet connection is good, 6MB down is fast enough for most of what I do, but when I'm downloading large files I still long for more speed. Today Comcast teased us with a glimpse into the future of their internet services.

Their new modem was capable of downloading 150MB/second by using a similar process of bonding cable lines together like the one we reported on previously.

It's still going to be a few years before the technology is ready to be rolled out to consumers, but it's good to know that they are working on it.
