I believe this is a good first step toward a solid take-with-you access to Wi-MAX coverage. Perfect if you wanna hub up at a fan/gaming convention, provided the convention center/hotel is covered by Wi-MAX. I'm going to get one next year and see how it works then.

Right now I have their 4G USB which also does not support 3G. Granted it doesn't pick up everywhere but I'm quite satisfied. Been playing WoW with no real connection at 80-115ms ping at almost every place I use it is nice. Here is hoping the Rover Puck holds up to my expectations.

This is a pretty cool device. However, a warning, Clear claims it does not throttle down speeds, but it does. If you read the fine print, it'll tell you that if you watch NetFlix, game, or do other things on this services, you'll suffer.

iSpot the Rover –Wimax- 4G network enables us with a speed factor that ‘s required for a true conformed collaboration. However, it needs time to bring the coverage network to the required maturity level in order to meet consumers expected and promised functionally. It’s the digital collaboration that demand the freedom of collaborating anywhere at any time using any device.
