CiragoTV Platinum CMC2000 streams media in HD resolution

Many people consume significant amounts of digital media today. Our music is digital, our videos are digital, and even our books are going digital. This means that many homes now need a device that can organize and stream all the digital media available across a home network.

Cirago has a new multimedia center called the CMC2000 that packs in some nice features in a small package. The device can record video via AV inputs and supports time shift. It can record and playback media files at the same time and has an integrated LAN jack and can be wirelessly connected with an optional USB adapter.

The device has a built-in NAS storage unit with 1TB of storage space good for up to 1000 hours of recorded programs. A pair of USB ports is built-in that allows you to add more external storage when needed. The device supports MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, and ISO video formats along with MP3, WMA, and OGG audio. Supported image formats include JPEG, JPG, and BMP. The device will ship in Q1 2010 with 500GB and 1TB capacities to follow.
