Cirago CDD2000 USB 3.0 HDD docking station breaks cover

A while back I talked about the Cirago Bluetooth adapters that were tiny and added new Bluetooth features to your notebook or desktop computer. Cirago is back with a new HDD dock that lets you use your old HDDs as USB 3.0 drives without having to mount them inside a chassis of some sort.

The dock is called the CDD2000 Hard Drive Docking Station USB 3.0. Unlike most of the other USB 3.0 HDD enclosures we have seen the Cirago offering is a dock so you can plug in your drive quickly and if you have more than one HDD laying around you want to access you can use them all with the same dock.

The device is backwards compatible with older USB specs and is hot swappable. Both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA I/II HDDs are supported. The dock ships complete with its own USB 3.0 cable and power adapter for $49.99.
