Free tethering requires root, just like it requires a jailbreak on iphone.

You can have bigger screen, but certainly not better. (That is unless you choose to ignore every comparison test and analysis done in the last two years..)

Themes are endless on iphone (cydia store.) And have been plentiful since before the g1. But just as on android, they sap performance. Most long standing iphone owners are “over it” and have been since before your first smartphone purchase. Customs roms generally just address missing features or unofficial updates. In fact, these exist on ios as well (forcing Siri onto ipods, forcing 4.0 or 5.0 onto first gen devices, etc..)

4g LTE, worked out great for HTC.

Finally, better hardware specs are relative. Utilizing that extra power for something other than making an inefficient OS appear smooth is the REAL trick.

How about bigger, better screens and 4G LTE. Custom ROMS and infinite themes and configurations, free tethering, and better hardware specs.

So much for al the noise surrounding iPhone and the lack of Flash support. Now Adobe is embracing the HTML5… I take it now that the Android fans will find another angle of attack to explain why Android is better than iPhone… Having seen the latest Samsung ad at the SB 2012, i take it that the new attack is “Android users dress better” looking at the clown in pink in the ad… Seriously, no offense to the Android users: jobs was right on target day 1…. Long live Android and long live iPhone… May the users be the winners whatever platform they use.

Being a former iPhone user and now an Android user all I can say is that it’s about time. Flash had its day, but it is time to move on.

Flash isnt even developed anymore. iDevices has been missing it for the past five years when it’s been the most prominent technology for displaying video online. It isn’t even googles decision to integrate it anymore. If anyone, blame Adobe.

i read this on the droidlife site and in the comment sections a lot the android fans, the same ones that dogged the idevices for its lack of flash are now saying “no biggie.”
