Any way iPad is not that relevant now..there is Amazon Kindle and a ton load of Android tablets in the market with better or same specs now suddenly apple products seems overpriced..so whats the point ? Most of them are shifting towards those tabs. Meanwhile Microsoft says they will come up with Windows 8 on tablets, although late I dont think iPad and other tablets will be a challenge to windows in near term once Microsoft comes with such a solution.

Where this will get interesting is if Proview makes enough courtroom progress to have a reasonable chance at success. Then there will be more firms than just Apple interested in buying their iPad trademark in China. That bidding war could be fun, and quite profitable to Proview.

yeah, Apple are just a bunch of bullies…they didnt think up the name iPad and should not be able to stop others from using it…they didnt think up half their patents, but can block sales of other products because they bought some dodgy piece of paper years ago…well this time it backfired, i think all apple products should be pulled from china, maybe when they lose a billion customers they will change the way they do business…

Apple won’t be extorted. It’s only 10m… But they will let China lose the entire iPad manufacturing contract. They likely wouldn’t even let foxcon pay the tab for them. They will demand the court set things right or they can eat it.
