The games console for people who don’t really much like games consoles, Nintendo’s Wii, has inched a few steps closer to interesting with the news that it’ll likely ship this November for under $250 and, even better, will offer online gaming without subscription fee.

Rubbish the Wii is for all gamers except those who are ignorant The Wii is a console for all true gamers aswell - it is taking us closer to being part of the game and giving us many new possibities.

i agree with mutantmonkey… the wii is not only geared to the new gamers, but to the heavier gamers like me… i usually play bf2, and all the fps games, most rts, and some sports… im not sure about the rts for the wii but usually rts suck for consols neway… im excited for it to come out… that and Spore… my 2 large purchases of 06, i wouldnt buy the 360 or ps3 just because i ever really liked the games and the sys is to expensive… my bro has one and i just prefer my pc over them. but YOUR ALL HIGH!

i love rts, too. and wii has a great opportunity to make a killer rts w/ the controller. with the point and fire system, they could also do a drag and select, like the old warcraft/command and conquer games. and there is no better online than an rts. i would like to see them take advantage of their advantage in all areas.

With Christmas come and gone its still very hard to find a wii for a fair price. I got mine online thanksgiving morning for 249.00 using a wii tracker.
