Hey Raymond,

Let me start out by saying that I read DVICE's article on the same topic after I published the above, from the source. But, I will admit that the 40-year comment actually didn't come from me, but from a friend of mine who said something to that effect. I can't say whether or not he read the DVICE article to make the comment, though.

So, out of respect, I'm going to remove the line from the article above. I'm sorry for the confusion -- and I certainly don't want you to think that I'm nabbing your article, and not giving you proper due. I've always sourced DVICE, because I'm a personal fan of the site, in the past. And I'll continue to do so.

Hi Evan,

While I have the utmost respect for Slashgear. I can't help but notice how this story is almost entirely lifted off of mine from DVICE (http://dvice.com/archives/2011/01/gorgeous-chase.php). And while I understand that in the blogging world, "borrowing" is applied heavily, I do think you could have injected a bit more of your own personal thoughts instead of copying mine.

Why do I suggest so? Because of the commentary. I closed out with a thought about the last 40 years of automobile innovation and looked forward to the next. The copy is nearly identical.
