The market is full of products that charge via a USB port. It’s amazing that it has taken this long for someone to come out with a product that you can plug into a wall outlet to charge any USB device.

Granted, there are enough USB hubs out that having ports on your computer won’t be a problem. But sometimes you want to charge your phone, or your iPod somewhere other than at the computer.
Some people might argue that you could just use the wall charger that came with the item. But honestly, I have a USB cord with interchangeable ends that, with coupled with this, could charge practically anything that uses any of the standard connectors.

I already have such a device for ages, it comes standard with a Rio Cardon mp3 player.

Products like this have been around for awhile, I have one with a AC to USB and even one that goes USB to Car Lighter. But the companies that make these things are too small to promote their products, and of course all of the big companies want you to by their price marked up chargers.
