There are quite a few of us in this world toting around usb flash drives with half broken cases barely held together with some sort of tape. We all know there is likely a better solution than blue electrical tape; however, we can never think of one at the time.

Besides we are just fascinated by the fact that electrical tape comes in so many colors. Someone posted this idea in the photo pool for Flickr. They thought something up that is so simple it makes you feel retarded for not thinking of it yourself. Why not combine two things that are constantly getting put through the washer, your usb drive and your chapstick?

Now keep in mind the regular chapstick tubes are a little small, the creator had to actually bore out the tube with a lathe, which is simple to do if you have access to that kind of machinery. This idea could be extended to other girly items such as lipstick tubes.
