But the difference between Apple and Samsung is that Apple changed what they stole into something better while Samsung tried to make it look like an Apple product but do copying it exactly thinking that they could get away with it.

That would be amazing. I wish ALL of these patent wars in the consumer electronics industry would die. This has gotten just plain awful in the last 2 or 3 years.

Obviously whichever side wins parts of this lawsuit it is not the final answer and this will be litigated ad infinitum.

Judge: Both Apple and Samsung are not the original inventors. Apple and Samsung are suing each other for something that they stole from somebody else. As a result, both thieves are found wrong and therefore Apple and Samsung should giveaway their products free to the consumers. Apple and Samsung must each giveaway 500 million USD worth of smartphone and tablet products to consumers around the world. This will serve as an example to other companies that the act of abusing the patent system will not do any good to themselves. Both companies must stop filing charges on each other and focus on making improvements to their products to benefit the consumers as well as their own market share. Both companies must also drop all charges in all international courts. Case closed.
