What were your favorites from CES?

I’m kidding. Either way, I did see it as a bit ranty, and Mr. Selleck does seem like a picky eater, but it still gave me some good insight into something I will probably never attend.

I would if it was a more realistic blog. I have never had any of the issues he speaks of at CES myself. As for comparing traffic to Chicago and NY? Proves right there he has never been to those cities. Most of the bloggers love being there and usually don’t complain about much. I have never had a problem with Wi-Fi unless i’m using a lot of bandwidth. As for the food? Food isn’t that bad at all. He is obviously a first timer to this show.

At least he has given me a realistic look at what it may be like for someone attending the CES event. As a blogger yourself then perhaps you should show a bit more support instead of being such a sausage about things?

Doesn’t seem as if you get away from the computer. When I conduct a Google Search it comes up with many video game, and blog sites. Sounds to me you sit in front of the computer and tv more then most people. I mean your job is a blogger which requires being at a computer a high percentage of your career. Now I am a blogger myself in my spare time, and will admit we are all lazy because of what we do. A real hard working job also does not consist of retail either. A real job meaning “Real Labor” or “Manual Labor” which you seem to have not experienced.

Well I highly doubt you have served your country. According to your Facebook your pretty young guy. Also according to records you never served active duty. Unless you did this is another country.

I’m wondering what you may define as a “real” job. I look at a retail job, where someone restocks shelves, or the cellphone business where they help customers all day, or the restaurant business where someone’s on their feet all day helping customers. Or, maybe you mean customer support over the phone.

If you mean any of those things, then yes, I’ve done that. For a long while, in most of those cases. So, to answer your ignorant question, yes, I have “worked a real job.”

If you don’t mean those, and perhaps you mean something like the United States military, then yes, I’ve done that too.

Here’s my recommendation for you: don’t take such a column, which is obviously meant to make light of a show like CES for someone who’s taking their first visit there. Here’s a second one, for good measure: if you don’t like my writing, stop reading it.

Oh, and about that book: you read a book that was written by a high school student, and you helped pay for the Senior graduation party, so thanks a bunch!

No seriously, I’ll go and run extra coverage for Slashgear on my own bill just for press access. That…. would…. be……epic.
