Motorola could provide Android 2.2 to only a fraction of their Android devices so far (notice that 2.3 is released by now!):
https://supportforums.motorola.com/community/manager/softwareupgrades

If you buy Motorola tablet, the chances are after 6 months you will end up with a brick with ancient software. Have a Google search for Motorola's failures about Android updates nearly in all of their devices.

I wouldnt spend money on buying mobile products from Motorola however cool it looks at first place. I recommend waiting for a similar phone from another manufacturer which can provide software updates.

So far if I get a tablet I think it will be the Xoom. Unless there turns out to be another tablet with a better price point and also has Honeycomb.

The playbook is pretty neat, but I already have a 4.3 inch phone and feel the need to have at least a 9" screen to make getting a tablet worthwhile.

The Norton Adam looks nice, but I really wish they weren't coming out with their own app store. Although if the model with the neat reflective screen were to drop in price a little bit I might be tempted to give it a second look. Too bad the $375 model is LCD only :(.

I am trying to decide between the Xoom and the playbook. The playbook has twice as much power than any of these other tablets. And if you look at the adam its big benefit over the others is it UI which to me is just a shiny gimpick. It looks cool but I think I will find myself using a full screen mode more of the time if I had it. If they gave the option of changing the size of each panel then it might work or to have 2 apps open then it would be nicer. And in 6 months by the time the first pre-orders actually start taking delivery of the units most other companies will have a pixelQi screen or another LCD that will be just as good. So thats not gonna be a huge benefit to NI.

I would like an Adam but right now to many issues with it. Its a one man team that is trying to run everything in the business. He needs to hire people to actually make it a viable company besides having programs and developers. It's almost every week we see an issue with the Adam or delays and no real explanation from the absent CEO. I would say don't waste your time and buy from someone who can actually deliver.

I wish they had a better selction of the 7 inch combination Tablet/Smartphone like the Dell streak running windows phone 7. I think combination Tablet/Smartphone is a great device
because you pay a data plan for 1 device instead 2 which is what you pay if you Own a Smartphone and a Tablet. Damn all the Tablet/smart phones are Android OS when is someone
going to make a 7 inch tablet with a smartphone with windows Phone 7 as the tablets smartphone operating system. forgive me for bring this Idea up again but wow folks what a
great tablet/smartphone it would be. I wonder who will de the first OEM to have the guts to do it.

Great roundup! It's funny how so many tablets are hitting the market but only a few are worth buying. For me it is the Notion Ink Adam! I pre-ordered and expect it to arrive at my home some time very soon.
