Razer have officially announced at CES the Mako 2.1 THX-certified gaming speaker system that James went head over heals for back in October, and I hope he’s been saving up his pocket money since bi-amped, 2.1 audio with Class HD amplifiers apparently don’t come cheap.  Setting the price at $399.99 or €399.99 in Europe, each satellite speaker pumps out 50W and the total system power is 300W.

RCA audio inputs and a 3.5mm aux input cover getting sound into the Mako system; an all-in-one remote control ‘pod’ with touch-sensitive LED dial manages what comes out of it.  A headphone socket is there for quieter moments.

It’s released this month.
