Griffin seems to be all about iAccesories and its iTrip is definitely one worth looking into. It’s perfect for in-car use as it broadcasts your music through FM frequencies and allows you stow and charge your device out of sight and still control it through its AutoPilot playback control.

It uses SmartScan to find the perfect frequency and will display your titles on any RDS-enabled car radio. I’ve got no word on price and nothing more official on release other than “Coming Soon”.

No. I tried 3 different models with my iPod Touch and this was by far the worst. You could just barely hear the damn thing under all the static - and I mean barely. I let it choose channels and the sound was unusable. I tried my own channels and the sound was unusable.

I bought a kensington instead which works quite well.

This model isn’t even out yet, so it’s not likely that you ever used this.
