Cellular South gets 3G Dell Inspiron Mini 10

Cellular South announced that they will be offering the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 with 3G network access on their own carrier. This subsidized netbook measures in at 10.1-inches and would offer wide-range coverage for subscribers. This is very similar to what AT&T is offering.

This carrier is CDMA and will use EVDO for access rather than HSPA. The netbook itself is one we're all very familiar with. It has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G.

Other features include Windows XP and a multi-touch trackpad. Weighing in at only 2.6-pounds, this netbook is light enough to bring with you anywhere. You can get it now from Cellular South for $199 so long as you sign up for a two-year contract. Two plans are available, with 500MB and 5GB at $40 and $60/month, respectively.
