		<description><![CDATA[Well, first of all, it&#039;s not. The atmosphere is 1.4-4.9% methane. Most of the rest (&gt;95%) is inert nitrogen gas. 

But even if it was 100% methane it wouldn&#039;t burst into flame, because methane requires oxygen to burn. You tend not to get oxygen in an atmosphere because it is too reactive. The exception on Earth is only because plants, algae, etc are producing oxygen in significant quantities.
