Case-mate has been offering cases for the iPhone 4 on AT&T since the smartphone launched. That doesn’t mean that the company isn’t taking advantage of the newly announced Verizon iPhone 4 though with a grab specifically for those looking to get the Apple smartphone on the Verizon network.

Case-mate is reaching out with cases for the Verizon iPhone 4 and some of them are strange. Take the Monsta case for instance; it reminds me a bit of The Walking Dead. It has a white base with a blood spatter looking top with a mouth and uses the lens and flash area for an eye.

You can also get the Waddler, which looks like a penguin. If you want something a bit more mundane the Egg is well cushioned, the Gelli looks cool, and the Vroom with a tire tread pattern is perfect for auto fans. Some of the cases for the iPhone 4 may fit the Verizon offering since it and the AT&T iPhone have the same basic design and shape. If it fits or not depends on the design on the opening in the volume button area.
