Car Hackers meld 90s Bronco with Ford Raptor

OJ made the plain white Bronco something of an icon in his slow speed chase years ago. Some car geeks have taken a Bronco that looks much like the one that OJ drove and hacked it up to make something very cool that you probably won't see again. What started as a 1993 Ford Bronco is now a Frankenstein monster of a vehicle with the heart of a 2011 Raptor.

The project started with gutting the Bronco until nothing was left but the body shell. The Raptor was then taken apart and its body tossed away. The longer Raptor chassis was then shortened and tweaked until the Bronco body could fit.

What you end up with is what appears to be a normal Bronco on the outside with the muscular engine and off-road chassis from a 2011 Ford SVT Raptor truck. The vehicle was built in South Carolina by Tumblin Automotive.

The project was in the works for several years and was completed in early 2014. For some reason it took this long for word of the Franken-Raptor to get around. The finished product looks to be very drivable with none of the flex you might expect from a vehicle with a highly modified chassis.
