Canon LV-7590 Projector is big, bright, and expensive

Canon has unveiled a new and very bright projector for custom installations called the LV-7590 Multimedia Projector. The massive projector is very bright with a light output of 7000 lumens and promises great image quality and precise color control.

Canon says that the projector is aimed at use in churches, schools, conference rooms, small theaters and more. In addition to the 7000 lumens of brightness, the projector has a contrast ratio of 1800:1. Features include a color management system and an automatic gamma adjustment.

Images projected with the LV-7590 are enhanced with integrated 10-bit video processing. The projector has both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio capability and more. There are a number of lens options available for the projector to suit the installation. Connectivity includes DVI-D and a 5BNC terminal. Supported resolutions include 180p, 1080i, 720p, and more. The LV-7590 will ship at the end of August for $8,999.
