Amazing, but I wish it was at a better price point. I can’t wait to get my hands on one and shoot a video production for one of my clients.

Funny thing is that Nikon for D800 premiere used video footage from 5Dmk2 (they used it *illegally*). So I don’t really think that D800 can be better than 5Dmk3 which is better than 5Dmk2.

It appears that the much anticipated 5DIII is lagging behind the $500 less expensive 36mpx D800 in resolution, video and flexibility. I am sure it is a nice camera but only an incremental improvement over the much lower cost 5DII. The AF is likely better but the main defect of the 5DII was marginal AF performance. Those with a serious investment in Canon lenses will likely not switch but a lot of people will.
