Canon 5mk3 it`s a nice camera, but Nikon D800 really offers more for less price. The dunamic range of the ne D800 is outstanging. The resolution no match. and the noise performance is the same as 5dmk3 and even better, so D800 beats Canon in every term of IQ.

D800..
- can mount cropped sensor (DX) lenses, and still gives you 15mp pictures. can't even mount EF-S lens on full frame canon bodies.
- autofocus down to f/8 (only f/5.6 for 5dmk3)
- 91K pixel RGB metering sensor that can detect faces through optical view finder (5Dmk3 only does face detection in live view mode). this ensures proper exposure of faces in difficult lighting conditions. the sensor also helps autofocus system in subject tracking to focus on faces.
- autofocus in video recording
- uncompressed HDMI out for external video recording
- shutter rated at 200,000 actuations. that's 50,000 more than 5dmk3!!
enjoy those 10 extra AF points and shooting at ISO 102,400 while the D800 is still shooting for 50,000 more pictures in its lifetime
