They did their homework, if I didn’t know better would think the same company built the HO Camaros and like my Boss 302. I.E. the Recaros, similar dash and steering wheel, wheels/tires, ft. engine compartment brace, engine esthetics itself, heat extraction.

Don’t like the front spoiler, looks like a bolt on and could of been less conspicuous. Does look like a Camaro though. Like much better than new Sting-Ray.

I have a zo6 with 658 rwh n I have a Zl1 on the way… The Zl1 is half the price I paid for my zo6 n a Sc that will hold up on it n not blow the engine is another 15 to 20… K..so compare apples to apples . Not is as bad as the Zl1 for the price….

I have a Z06 Corvette and if I make it super charged I’ll beat the shit of ZR1 or even Ferrari. Bugatti have 12 cylinders, that’s why is so fast. Regardless. If we didn’t have the FREEDOM to choose our own method of transport, we’d all be on public transit – no one would be allowed to own any car, since even a Prius is beat by a well-functioning transit system.

If measuring at the wheels, you have to add 13 – 15% for drive train losses to determine hp at the flywheel. So 447 + 13% = 505. To avoid lawsuits, hp ratings are generally understated by Detroit.

As mentioned by the other posters, dynamometer “dyno” measures power at the wheel. Due to many variables that can potentially impact the dyno results such as altitude, dyno model, powertrain setup, ambient temperature, vehicle temperature, etc. Dyno results should always be taken with a grain of salt and only be used as a tool to establish a baseline prior to adding performance parts.

As for the power ratings, they are certified by the respective agencies (hp ratings are different between various continents) and overrating can lead to a class action lawsuit for false advertisement.

you’re confusing engine base hp with rear wheel hp. engine dynos get a closer hp read out whyle a chasis dyno loses about 15% output due to rotational loss.

That is flywheel HP for the ZL1. The GT500 dyno is at the wheels. Actually the GT500 makes 550 at the flywheel for 2010 and up model years.
