Callpod unveils new Chargepod V2 at CES

I am not going to CES this year for the first time in several years. When I went last year, I swear that I had six pounds of chargers between my camera, phone, laptop, and other electronics. Callpod has announced a new version of its Chargepod dubbed Chargepod V2 that will let you travel with just one charger.

The new version can charge laptops, USB devices, and other portable electronics at once from the three-sided charger. Side one of the charger can charge PC or Mac laptops and is compatible with hundreds of laptop models according to Callpod.

Side two of the device can charge three small devices like a cell phone, MP3 player, digital camera or other device. Side three has a 3-port USB hub that allows for data transfer and can connect keyboards and mice along with other gear to the computer attached to it. The device will ship later in the year for $199.95.
