Actually I heard they tested playing with both xbox and pc players on the same server, and it didn’t work out, because they xbox players got their asses handed to them.

Campers ruin BF3 because the net code blows. I don’t care about campers in COD because they can be countered with fast reflexes. BF3 you might as well just sit there… if you don’t die instantly, anyway, due to the shitty, laggy client side hit registration.

I feel the same way. I was really looking forward to BF3 but am so let down. I wouldn’t care about campers so much if the net code and lag compensation weren’t so downright awful. I play on PC and it feels like a console. DICE games have never been as responsive as the COD series, but they really ruined a great opportunity, because there are some great ideas within BF3 that failed on implementation. And let’s not even mention the massive amount of bugs and server problems. I get disconnected from servers and they have the bright idea of not putting a server browser in the game, so I have to load the game every damn time I get disconnected or want to change servers, because the game crashes any time you alt-tab? Terrible design on Battlelog.

Back to COD for me.

Let’s stop talking bout realism too. If you want realism, join the military. Its a video game. You kids need to get over yourselves. Realism takes a certain amount of fun out of the game. No one wants to play a cruelty realistic game, if you did, you would all be playing operation flashpoint. That’s as realistic as your realistic as your going to find.

All u kids whining about PC this, BF that, original COD was better. Your all dumb. COD 2 was the best in the COD franchise. That being said, u can’t compare black ops to MW. They are two different companies. If you like fast paced gameplay, buy MW3, if you like slow team based gameplay, buy BF3. Stop comparing this game to that. By the way, creating a new engine for BF3 was the dumbest thing they could have done. Now all the lag issues and subpar gameplay are going to make everyone switch to a game that is more proven. All u PC boys, keep playing PC. I play PC, PS3, and XBOX. XBOX gamers are much better at fps’s. Figure I would let y’all know where the real players are.

The graphics in COD MW3 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 look incredibly cheap cartoon like -
i am shocked by how naff the graphics look. This game does not look
much different to previous editions of COD MW. I have got fed up with
the dogs and swore that I would never buy another COD game that was full
of those naff dogs but the graphics look terrible on this, the maps
look similar to the first two COD MW games and the heart and soul of the
original COD games has just gone.

COD used to be a brilliant team game with COD 1 United Offensive in
multiplayer but this looks like a game for kids who know nothing of team
play. After following the COD franchise since COD1 it looks like I am
going to make the jump and try out this Battlefield 3 as the graphics
look far superior in BF3 and I am told there is more team play.

Oh, getting rid of Capture the Flag in COD MW3 is the last straw but,
probably, the last straw was when COD World At War got hacked back in
July and Treyarch appeared to do nothing to correct the hacking. If I
buy COD MW3 how long before it gets hacked and becomes unplayable? I no
longer trust the makers of COD to support the games once they get over a
year old and I also have got fed up having to buy Map Packs within a
month or two of the game coming out. People say that the BF3 maps are
all included in the original price.

Boy, those COD MW3 graphics look dated IMPO.

BF3 was a let down, it really was..I’m more into COD, however I’ve been anticipating BF3 for awhile now and I’m not happy with my purchase. Worst of all, all of these BF fan boys just won’t admit how bad it really is..which is sad. MW3 will put BF to shame. I just don’t understand the fun in camping, and here I thought it was bad in COD, x that by 100 and you have 85% of BF community. It’s pathetic. The servers are awful, I get dropped from games, I start a squad and when it puts me in a game we’re all over the place team wise. The voice chat is constantly choppy, and I know it’s not my Internet because my friends have the same problem. All and all, BF got to much hype and MW is going to swoop through and save the day. PEACE.

You can have your own opinion about which game you prefer. I own every call of duty game and I bought battlefield 3 the day it came out. The beta was absolute shit, but the full game was 100x better. Although I’ve had some massively laggy games in bf3 and the graphics really aren’t much better than call of duty (if you could even consider them better?). But truely I play games based on gameplay, not on “game engines and graphics”. I could care less if battlefield 3 looked like minecraft; if it was fun, I would play it. I personally prefer call of duty’s arcade style of playing because I get more action in the game instead of running half the game or trying to jump into a vehicle being driven by Helen Keller. Mw3 may have the same engine as every other modern warfare with a couple tweaks, but that’s fine with me, there wasn’t much to improve for such a great game (again, just my opinion).

BF3 is different from COD. it is definitely more realistic in many respects including rifle sway and bullet physics (no question) but it is a different gamestyle aand has its own problems. I personally do not like to run and gun quick gameplay of COD and lack of teamplay. That is why i stick to COD singleplayer and BF3 multiplayer. Just kidding about the air force.. just a little interservice rivalry!

Well it has just released so you can’t say much. MW3 will be just as bad when it comes out. MW3 is very simplistic and has been using the same engine. BF3 uses a brand new engine so it will naturally have glitches. Remember, COD4(aka the greatest COD ever and ONE of the greatest shooting games ever). COD4 was pretty glitchy because the system was new. BF3 over time will turn out to be a pretty good game…HOPEFULLY. MW3 on the other hand does look good but I have been deceived with the past 3 CODs. Looks good at the last minute. I buy it. After three hours it sucks dick. MW3 will most likely be no different. BF3 can POSSIBLY suck. MW3 will MOST LIKELY suck. BF3 has hype, but the hype in MW3 is far far higher.

When you run and you’re pointing a gun is the weapon perfectly still?? no. when you shoot a weapon is the gun perfectly still? no, Thats called recoil/Kick, every gun has it, some less than others.

@c485be282cf4b8eb95334ef9cec47510:disqus just want to put in my opinion and say that after playing bf3 i have definitely had more “terrible hit detection, drop games online” while playing bf3 then the last 3 CODs. and the graphics arent better either. the engine is a great and has much power and so is the lighting but the models are much better in MW. i get bored of COD too but every time i play a different shooter i sure as hell see why COD is so great and why they dont really need to change anything. theyll probably make a major change after MW3 anyways. they found a great formula and made 3 great games out of it and are going to move on. dont buy it if it such a problem. both games are great but theyre also different. personally i favor MW due to the smooth way it handles. no other shooter comes close….just try hitting someone in bf3 haha
