Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Details And Release Date Leaked

The E3 conference is fast approaching and with that are more revelations on what's ahead. Some major blockbuster games are set to launch this fall, and perhaps going head to head is Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The latter one of which has now had some of its details leaked along with a potential release date.

Game publisher Activision has remained silent on any announcements, but several retailers, including Amazon, HMV, and Game, have already begun advertising Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with a release date of November 8th. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, P23 and PC.

"Call of Duty is one of most the iconic gaming franchises of this generation, with both Modern Warfare 1 and 2 being two of the biggest selling games of all time," said Neil Ashurst, who works for Game. "The next installment, Modern Warfare 3, will be released on 8 November and we know our customers can't wait to get their hands on it."

So what about what we can expect from the actual game itself? Well, one thing that we can look forward to is that the Spec-Ops mode found in MW2 will be back in MW3. The mode allowed for versions of single player missions modified for two players, but in MW3 it may support more than two players. A new survival style co-op mode may also be added. Four locations have also been confirmed to playable in the game and they are America, Germany, France, and England.

Below you'll find four teaser trailers posted by Activision. But of course we're curious which one's got you more excited. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3?
