when blak ops first came out on ps3 it was good, but since the started patching it nothing seems right. when you watch the kill cam at the end some times the person is shooting way off and you see the other man die, gun specs dont seem to make a difference ether, you might have a top rate gun and looking down the sights and fire a full round at the enemy and nothing some times, and they have a crap moddel not even looking down the sights just firing all over the place and you die, wouldent happen in real war sorry, they should spend less time with microsoft and sort out all the the systems to make it fair.

i just bought black ops and played the first level and it now freezes up and i cannot play anything beyond that in campaign mode, is there a solution for this?????

Ps3 turns off automaticly when i try to update blackops. Takes another ten minutes to reset and then to do it all over again. Nothing works. I have the 1st generation ps3

I cnt play black ops really at all I have both map packs nd it freezes either at the lobby screen or the loading screen right before a match… I can play zombies sometimes… Today I was in a middle of a zombie match and I lagged out… Checked my connection and it was 98%… I cnt stand treyarch… They’ll never get my money again… I dnt have any problems with any other games… Infinity ward is better treyarch I s a rip off

Everytime I try and play multiplayer, the game freezes while it is loading. I thought the disc was scratched so went out and brought a brand new one and had the exact same problem.

I really don’t have any issues with game up to this point. I have been satisfied with the game play and weapons and maps but only one thing is getting. Launch is the only map that will not load!!!! I always take a deep breath when the everyone votes random because it is sooner or later going to pop up launch! Just want that map to work and have this stress to leave over one stupid little map! If anyone has any answers or has had this same problem please help me out !!!

just yesterday i downloaded patch 1.07, then it restarts like its supposed to every thing seems fine i go to play and it completely freezes i go to quit game and my ps3 shuts down, then i go to play again, and the treyarch logal is going but there are a tun of numbers from campaingn “all the while controler unresponsive, then it skips out to the lady when you beat campaign and she is saying the numbers then when she’s done it cuts out to a blank screen thats it, i bought this game 5 fricking days ago and theres no fixing it that i know of wtf im very very disapointed…

Just signing in to the multiplayer lobby and the game lags out,,They put a game out living on the call of duty name and ripped people off in my estimation

How many games put a beta out to iron out the bugs before the release date,, I know i am not the only one dealing with this lag, Every time they migrate hosts you have a different game experience

Call of duty has nothing to do with skill, it has more to do with lag issues,,I am real disapointed in black ops and i think i will trash the game, It is not worth the frustration this game produces

I can be in a good mood and play this game for ten minutes and i get so pissed of i feel like smashing something,, And it is not because of losing, it is because the game is never accurate

Modern warfare is a much better shooter then black ops and their guns are a 100 times better then black ops weapons that are all chopey

Black ops is a disgrace to the call of duty series

Call of duty lag ops is the most pathetic call of duty ever made, It is rare when the game feels accurate and not lagging,, I have always been a big fan of Call of duty series, but call of duty black ops is horrible compared to modern warfare

I play live on xbox and there are times when i can put a full clip in someone, they turn around and shoot me once and i die.. Sometimes the game feels off by a second,, I go back and play moder warfare and i dont have this lag problem

There are times when i just want to destroy the game and wait for the next modern warfare to come out, I am not a call of duty hater like some, Call of duty is my favorite game but i cant stand the lag in black ops

They brag how they sold 20 million copies but never put a beta out, and after all these years they still have not patched when people pull the plug in a game and you get disconected from the host and you get a loss, come on it has been how many years and you cant fix these bugs

Black ops is average at best,

plus, i just done system update which didn’t help at all… the closest ive got to the game working is where it comes up on multiplayer, wait hold on… ok now i cant even get to the multiplayer menu to see what is there but it had (Split screen) option on it. *sigh*

ive completely ditched this game, it just doesnt work. it freezes as early as the game intro where it comes up Activision. ive tryed everything! clearing the game off my ps3, trying it on another ps3 (which worked btw) Cleaning the disk, trying to start it while not signed in, NOTHING. it just FREEZES, WHY?

i tend to have a full connection most of the time yet i still get plenty of lag. When im the host i get lag but most of the time the game slows down like im watching it in slow motion this is only when im the host also i have varying levels of recoil and gun damage. The worst thing had to be the other day when i loaded a full clip into a guy ran up knifed him in the back twice then shot him with my python and a team mate walked round the corner and shot him and i got an assist there was no connection issues for me during this game or the other guy that it wouldnt let me kill. Sometimes primary weapons only give assists for me and my friend when we play online we have to use our secondary weapon or knife to kill just because our primary fails. Also the new patch has brought back the crashing of the game for ps3 and 360 i have a lot of friends that have this issue and its not the console because other games work all the time without any crashes. it seems that they bring out a patch to fix the game then bring another out to break it again.

Black ops ps3…….where should i start. Theres so much wrong with this game its rediculous. Multiplayer, thats a joke. Just trying to finish a game with some kind of connectivity issue is almost impossible. The multiplayer offline isnt even worth playing. MW2 was the shit offline. Only the first player offline gets killstreaks. wtf who thought of that and what were you thinking. It definately lags alot. The prestige rewards for higher levels are not even worth the time that you put into getting to that level. you might as well just prestige a couple of time and just stop. The patches are just making the game worse. But most of all the server issues with the game are what kills it for me. I mean why even buy a fucking game if you cant play it…………idk just ranting i guess. nothing will get fixed, and i will still play it like a dumbass lol.

i have outstanding connection for my ps3 its a secure netgear wirless router and i still have all these problems with the freezing matches being cut off lagging and such and its often due to the lack of others good connection, i should not have to suffer bcuz of others. also not sure if its a players bad connection but i often have kills stolen although i unload half a clip into someone and get every hit marker but they some how kill me first even if i catch them off guard. dont get me wrong i love the game, just see the potential in it if these problems were resolved. a couple more problems is the game is to camper friendly but thts just how noobs are gonna play i guess. and THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I HAD WAS THT DURING A GAME THE SERVER TIMED OUT AND KICKED EVERYONE AND I SOMEHOW LOST ALL OF MY MONEY I STARTED THE MATCH WITH FIFTY THOUSAND AND NEXT THING I KNEW IT WAS AT STRAIGHT 0.

Black Ops is pa-the-tic! Before its release I was uber pumped over this 5hit: the custom class 2.0, which is a let down-the only cool thing is making your own emblem, ooo im prestige 11 look at my tattoos, oh 14? GOLD “camo? and 15 wow that was worth the time-NOT. id say 95% of people playing all use the AK-74, its an AK-47 with the end sawed off like a shot gun, therefore should make it less accurate. They can make the lunge less but they cant make it less accurate? its rediculous. I bought it right away, sold it a month later, and re-bought it again now i’m selling it for good. Activision is out of control with “over-releasing” their popular titles. COD is getting the “Guitar Hero Repetitive Reslease Syndrome” Releasing a new title every year is a stupid idea. It ruins the game. Halo 3 lasted longer than any COD title, because they didn’t release one every year. Black Ops-I say, would be a near perfect game if it had modern warfare 2 physics, and maps. Black Ops was great for eliminating the over use of noob tubes, and unrealistic quick scoping, other than that, it just turned out to lack the enjoyment of the other game types. Search and Destroy on MW2 was amazing and addicting. I have no interest when I play it on Black Ops. It’s all about high kdr, where the hell did strategy go? 3arch has never made a game that was worth playing a full year tilll the next title. I hope Infinity Ward can make a better MW than this over rated let down. At least there are better games than Activisions FPS’s like Gran Tourismo 5-that’s a REAL game. God only knows that Activion fucked up as usual. Black Ops was a waste of Sonys money. now that i think of it, seems there are hardly any good games anymore, those days were back from 1985-2004 R.I.P. the only thing anyone cares about nowadays are graphics, well even that doesn’t make a great game. Final Fantasy has always been a great game to play up until SquareEnix was made. FF13 may have the looks, but it surely isn’t Final Fantasy worthy. Shit, i’m done with video games. They ran out of ideas to making any good game.

my ps3 doesn’t even realize my black ops is in my ps3 usually, though it recognizes other games.. even my ps2 game discs get recognized fast… when it does recognize black ops i can play solo zombies but multiplayer online trips…. btw my black ops disc has no scratches and my ps3 recognizes other discs so i doubt it’s my lens

Take the time, be kind and describe exactly what you are experiencing and write them a letter as I have now done… lets see how that pans out.

Got to agree with your coments – utter waist of money. I had pre-ordered mine so happily one of the first in the UK to have it (so one would think) … anyway, after the constant lagging and freezing, not to mention the total shut-down of the PS3 console many many times! my PS3 has now been officaly fried!!! Yellow light of death (this is when the console switches on, flashes yellow then a red flashing light) so had to buy a new one as a repair from PS3 is around £170 … ( just add another £30 and buy a new one!)
I had plenty of conversations with Activision with regards to Port Forwarding, clearing the cache on the PS3 memory and all that cr..p but still nothing fixed it! They kept blaming my router or internet conection (i have internet from BeThere!) but at 24mg i’m fairly sure that cant be the problem as ALL OTHER GAMES WORK JUST FINE!!!

I have no problems either I think it my be because all your guys Internet sucks cuz I couldn’t join any matches until I fixed my Internet the patch hasn’t affected anything for me. I just wish headshots were better and snipers were on shot kill.
