There’s some problems with Black Ops, but at least Treyarch is working on them. 2 patches and hotfix in a week. Some of you talk like they’re not even trying. It definitely hasn’t been as bad as it was, not for me anyway. Lately I’ve been getting a number of consistent matches before a connection error or anything else bad happens. Eventually they’ll get it to where it should be…hopefully soon. But honestly, stop playing it if you’re that miserable with it or go back to MW2 and complain about that some more.

Hey guyz i just fix my nat its say in Black ops that its open but in connection test its type 3 with uppnp enable is it ok or still must be fixed??reply pls i wont broke my pc and ps3 lol

Well, 1.05 cost me $31,000 COD cash! I had that much cash last night and ranked up, jumped out of on-line to watch some TV, when I came back all COD cash was gone and I was one rank lower than when I left the game. WTF Treyarch?! Time to start playing MOH again…

I have found the only thing that works to fix the problems. I have a very nice D-link gaming router and have always had an open NAT on every other game I’ve played. Until black ops. The problem is that the game doesn’t utilize the UPnP to unlock the proper ports to open the nat up and then this leads to a ton of lag, and connectivity problems. I am pretty sure that this is supported by the statement below from t3arc in patch 1.05.

Improved UPnP functionality – further expands the game’s capability to open NATs on routers with universal plug and play enabled

So I found the work around, which I must admit, is ludicrous. insert MW2 go to multiplayer and once you see your NAT is open, as usual, quit the game and then boot up black ops. Magically your NAT will be open and the game will play MUCH better. Ridiculous that MW2 is such a better game that it is the only fix to black ops….

I had high hopes this new patch would fix things that 1.04 seem to have troubled me with, but sadly it hasn’t. Where previously I had a bout of a complete system freeze now I cannot stay logged into PSN or even into my computer’s internet connection. It boots and resets the entire thing over and over.

Having done all I can on my end from setting my PS3 into a DMZ to multiple deleting and redownloading of the patch itself, I feel there’s nothing more that can be done to try solving this from my end. Treyarch just really seems to have dropped the ball on what was hyped to be the most awesome First Person Shooter released thus far. Quickly strung together patches and hot fixes just don’t seem enough. It’s come down to me taking trading the game back to GameStop into consideration.

can anybody explain to me why my leaderboards keep getting reseted because ill get to a high point in leaderboards and then ill have to start all my kills and deaths all over again whats going on????

playd 1st game went well then at en i got winning last kill with rc car then error saying rc has no owner and kicked me off loosing all points at least points should be stored on the ps3 not networks

I see that the online is slightly better, however hosts migration has hit me 3 times in a row, TWICE in one round of snd. However I cannot see how people claim BO to be broke
I can consistently get into games since the beginning

Just played my first three games on The new patch for PS3.
First game, Played 2 minutes of game time and system froze.
Second Game, Just started the game lost connection.
Third Game, Froze again.
Come on treyarch.
