Here is my opinion when black ops first came out it was great no connection problems, no shitty lagg after the first patch the gameplay got worse & I couldn’t even get through half a match without host migration or a terrible lag 10 prestige in the first month then the last patch the one that nerfed the chopper gunner & care packages really fucked up the game bad we’re u chopper is useless right when u open the door its down! I have ps3 & 360 I notice the difference in the consoles the 360 u don’t lag as much as the ps3 butthink about it treyarch & activison are sold to the 360 that’d why ps3 players get the shit connection & shit servers now but that’s why I went back to mw2 I get great gameplay & no bad connection Bring Back Infinity ward !!!!

My experience with it today has been pretty terrible. Ive spent a pretty miserable afternoon getting my butt kicked because im running on 1 red bar. Still the only game mode I can enter is TDM. The system doesn’t recognize when i vote for a particular map. The lag is terrible, as bad as anything I have seen. I read an article yesterday where Treyarch were blaming gamers poor internet connection for the problems. I run 50meg fibre optic unlimited broadband, Nat type is Open, and the PS3 is in the DMZ of my router. What more can a person do. I played MW2 for an hour and had full strength signal bars through out the hour of gaming. No lag, no freezing no disconnections it ran perfect.

I ask about the early morning hours, because it would have been the early morning hours on the East coast. However, if you were still having problems at 10PM PST, then it could just come down to you not having received the hotfix yet. Now that it’s later in the day, you may want to try again, and see if the connectivity issues have been fixed.

I sure hope they have. At least a little bit.

did you really mean 12:30AM Weds evening, or did you mean thursday morning? reason I ask is that last night (before 10PM PST), I still had tons of problems getting into games, plus some games didn’t migrate when having host issues.
