Wow, still amazes me, how many people have such a warped views of Germany. Thank you, Paul thought no one else noticed the irony of americans wanting to call germans nazis. And it does happen more often then not. I had to live in the us after i grew up in germany, cant even count up the times I was called hitlers cousin, nazi, or other ignorant names. funny thing is in germany being a nazi is illegal unlike in america.
Actually brett living in germany now i can tell you one thing, germans think way too highly of america and americans in my opinion. I am both, have both nationalities and live in germany because the ignorance and lack of interest of anything non american was sickining. And yes there are always exceptions, like my friends who understand why I left.
Drew just keep your comments to yourself and atend a history class.

Yeah… Why would ZOG allow Nazi war criminals into the US? Stupid Germany. Weather the holocaust happened or not… More non Jews suffered in Nazi captivity than Jews. German youth are brainwashed to feel guilty for their fathers and grandfathers’ crimes against humanity. By the way the US fathered most of modern Germany when we shacked up with your west German women. The Russians fathered basta**s in the east. The ruskies even raped concentration camp victims besides regular German citizens!

sry i’ve been to the states 9 times all along about a year and in alot different locations…. i think i’ve met enough people to give my assumption a little strength…
I even encountered (Me: “Hi, i’m from germany…. other guy: “So you are here by bus ?” )
Of course there are also americans that know more about the world i never denied that

but if you compare the history classes of american schools and of other countries you will realize what i was pointing at…
That made me felt like that your history classes tech you until WWII which equals that your history knowledge stopped like 65 Years ago so a lot of the people know little to nothing on the present. But still dare to judge on people that weren’t even born and have no physical connection at all to the past. ( btw there are more nazis in the US than in germany sine a lot of years) ( but how do u tell that to sb who things he knows better anyways….?)

You guys post rubbish without any background-knowledge, sry but most of you american guys have been kind of mind washed that everything in germany or connected to germany is kind of connected to the wwii and the nazis….( at least is seams like that, or you are just plain stupid by talking about sth. you don’t know sh** about, even though you think you know everything) you should get a little more educated or qualified to comment on that topic. ( learn a little about the world outside of your country in general)

This censorship is aiming at youngsters that are under 18. The censoring of brutal pc games in germany is for the protection of the youngsters and it was in the past very unsuccessful because of certain laws, that have little action on availability. Even though there is a way around the ban of the game, a lot of the youngster won’t come in contact with the brutal version and thats exactly what they are aiming for nothing more and nothing less.

While I do think this ban is bogus, German society is surprisingly tolerant of WWII/Nazi material in media, whether in films, games or books. I doubt that video game bans have anything to do with that… it’s rather more likely to be too much gore or something like that.

LOTS of ways around this ban, if their government would know more about PC’s or really just technology in general they wouldn’t have even wasted their time. Kinda weird that they decide to ban this game which has NOTHING to do with Germany; but yet they allowed all the WWII versions of COD where they are KILLING Germans.
