C902 and C702 Cybershot by Sony Ericsson with one of them being splash proof

There were rumors of a water-proof phone coming from Sony Ericsson today, and they were right, sort of. The 702 is the splash proof camera phone with a 3.2MP camera, integrated GPS that can be used with Geo-tagging as well as navigation and Google Maps.

Opening the lens cover on the 702 automatically switches the phone into camera mode ditching the usual menu navigation required to get to the camera function meaning you can get to snappin' a lot quicker so you don't miss that shot of your grandmother doing a keg stand. The 902 has the same function, but adds a lot of camera-like functions via the series of 8 lit up touch-sensitive buttons you see in the photo.

Those buttons are used for camera modes, photo flash, face detection, auto-focus, and more. The 902 also has 160MB of integrated memory and can use the new MS micro M2 cards, which will come in handy with the 5MP camera that's attached to the 902.

Both phones also have UMTS/HSDPA 2100, EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900, there are also versions of both phones that lose the UMTS/HSDPA, the C902c and C702a. All four models will be available the second half of this year.
